Pokemon Infinite Fusion Calculator

The Pokemon Infinite Fusion Calculator helps you combine any two Pokemon and compare both possible fusion orders before using them in the game. It brings the most useful fusion details together in one place, including base stats, typing, abilities, moves, weaknesses, resistances and available custom sprites.

What the Pokémon Infinite Fusion Calculator does

Pokémon Infinite Fusion is a fan-made game that lets you fuse any two Pokémon into a new one. Every pairing works in two directions, and each direction is a different Pokémon with its own stats, typing and sprite. That adds up to a huge number of possible fusions, far too many to test in-game.

This Pokemon Infinite Fusion Calculator lets you plan a fusion before you spend your DNA Splicers. Choose any head and body Pokemon and you get both fusion results side by side, with:

  • Fused base stats, with the gain or loss against each parent
  • Fusion typing worked out with the game’s head and body rules
  • Abilities the fusion can have, with descriptions
  • The full move pool from both parents, sorted by how each move is learned
  • Weaknesses, resistances and immunities for the fused typing
  • Custom fusion sprites drawn by the community, with the artist credited

How to use the fusion calculator

  1. Pick the head Pokémon. It sets the fusion’s primary type, most of its HP and special stats, and the face of the sprite.
  2. Pick the body Pokémon. It sets the secondary type, most of the physical stats and Speed, and the body shape.
  3. Press Fuse. The console opens up to show both fusions: your chosen order and the reverse order. Not sure what to try? Press Random to fuse two random Pokémon.
  4. Compare the two results. Check stats, types and weaknesses, then use Swap to flip the head and body if the reverse order looks better.
  5. Open the moves tabs to see every move the fusion can learn before you commit to it in your game.

You can also use the console buttons: the D-pad steps through the head list (up and down) and the body list (left and right), A fuses, B swaps, and Random instantly fuses two random Pokémon.

How Infinite Fusion calculates fused stats

A fusion does not simply average its parents. Each stat leans towards one parent: the head controls the special side and HP, while the body controls the physical side and Speed.

Base stat weighting for every fusion
StatFrom the headFrom the body
HP2/31/3
Special Attack2/31/3
Special Defense2/31/3
Attack1/32/3
Defense1/32/3
Speed1/32/3

Head-weighted stat = (2 × head + body) ÷ 3
Body-weighted stat = (2 × body + head) ÷ 3

This is why the same two Pokémon can make a strong fusion in one order and a weak one in the other. A slow, powerful special attacker makes a good head, while a fast physical attacker makes a good body.

How fusion typing works

A fused Pokémon takes its primary type from the head and its secondary type from the body. If the body has only one type, that type is used. If the body’s type would repeat the head’s type, the fusion takes the body’s other type instead when it has one, so the fusion keeps two different types wherever possible.

A few Pokémon follow special typing rules. The best known are Normal/Flying Pokémon, which pass on their Flying type. The calculator applies these rules for you, so the typing and weakness chart you see match what you will get in the game.

Head or body: choosing the right order

Before fusing, ask what you want the fusion to do in battle.

  • Special attacker or tank: put the Pokémon with high Special Attack, Special Defense or HP in the head slot.
  • Physical attacker or sweeper: put the Pokémon with high Attack, Defense or Speed in the body slot.
  • Typing first: if you need a specific type combination, choose the order that gives it, then check the weakness chart.
  • Abilities and moves: compare the ability list and move tabs for both orders. A great ability or move can outweigh a small stat loss.

Custom fusion sprites and artist credits

Many fusions in Infinite Fusion have hand-drawn sprites made by artists from the game’s community. When a custom sprite exists, the calculator shows it along with the artist’s name, and you can switch between alternate sprites where more than one has been drawn. If a combination has no custom sprite yet, you will see a placeholder.

Frequently asked questions

What is a Pokémon Infinite Fusion Calculator?

It is a tool that shows what two Pokémon become when they are fused in Pokémon Infinite Fusion. Choose a head and a body and it shows the fused stats, types, abilities, moves, weaknesses and sprite for both possible orders.

How are fusion stats calculated in Infinite Fusion?

HP, Special Attack and Special Defense come two-thirds from the head and one-third from the body. Attack, Defense and Speed come two-thirds from the body and one-third from the head.

Which Pokémon should be the head and which should be the body?

The head gives the fusion its primary type, most of its HP and special stats, and the face of the sprite. The body gives the secondary type, most of its Attack, Defense and Speed, and the body shape. Put a special attacker or a Pokémon with high HP in the head slot, and a physical or fast Pokémon in the body slot.

Why are the two fusion results different?

Swapping the head and body changes the stats, the typing and the sprite, so Pokémon A fused with Pokémon B is a different Pokémon from B fused with A. The calculator shows both results so you can compare them.

How do I fuse Pokémon in the game?

Use DNA Splicers on two Pokémon in your party. The order you pick them in decides which one becomes the head, so check both results in the calculator first.

Can I unfuse Pokémon in Infinite Fusion?

Yes. Using DNA Splicers on a fused Pokémon separates it back into its two original Pokémon, as long as you have room in your party.

Where do the fusion sprites come from?

The custom fusion sprites are drawn by artists from the Infinite Fusion community, and each artist is credited under their sprite. If a combination has no custom sprite yet, the calculator shows a placeholder.

Is this Infinite Fusion calculator free and does it work on mobile?

Yes. The calculator is free, needs no sign-up, and works in any modern browser on phones, tablets and computers.
