What the Pokémon Infinite Fusion Team Builder Does
The Pokémon Infinite Fusion Team Builder helps you create and test a complete six-member party before you spend DNA Splicers or time training. Build fusion teams or regular Pokémon teams, compare typings and stats, choose moves and abilities, and spot shared weaknesses before battle.
Build your team in one of two modes:
- Fusion team: choose a head and a body for each slot. Leave the body empty to keep a member unfused.
- Base team: plan a team of regular, unfused Pokémon, for a Nuzlocke start or before you have DNA Splicers.
For every member you can set a nickname, ability, held item, nature and four moves. The team analysis then shows:
- Defensive coverage against all 18 types, with shared weaknesses flagged
- Offensive coverage from the moves you picked
- Speed order and the team’s average stats
- Custom fusion sprites, including alternates, with the artist credited
For deeper battle planning, use the Pokémon weakness calculator to inspect defensive matchups, the damage calculator for attack estimates, the Pokémon type chart for type interactions, and the Infinite Fusion sprite gallery to browse fusion artwork.
How to Use the Pokémon Infinite Fusion Team Builder
- Pick a mode. Fusion team for fused Pokémon, Base team for regular ones. Each mode keeps its own saved team.
- Select a slot in your party and choose its head Pokémon. In fusion mode, choose a body too, or leave it on “None” to keep that member unfused.
- Set the details. Pick an ability, held item and nature, then four moves from the member’s level-up, egg and tutor move pool.
- Read the team analysis. Red rows in the defensive chart are types your team is weak to with nothing that resists them. Fix those first.
- Share or save. Your teams save automatically in this browser. Press Share link to copy a link, or Export for a text version.
The console buttons work too: left and right move between slots, up and down step through head Pokémon for the selected slot, B swaps its head and body, and A jumps to the team analysis.
Pokémon Infinite Fusion Team Builder: Fusion Team or Base Team?
Fusing two Pokémon usually gives a higher base stat total than either parent alone in the right order, and it opens up type combinations that don’t exist in the main series games. It also costs you a party slot’s worth of Pokémon and locks in two sets of weaknesses at once.
Many players run a mix: four or five fusions plus one or two unfused Pokémon that are already strong on their own. Fusion mode supports that directly, so you can compare a mixed team against a full fusion team without switching tools.
Pokémon Infinite Fusion Team Building Tips
- Cover shared weaknesses. If three members are weak to Ground, add a Flying type, a Levitate user or a strong Ground resist.
- Spread your types. Fusions make it tempting to stack a favourite type. Try to keep any single type on no more than two members.
- Mix physical and special attackers. Put a strong special attacker in the head slot and a fast physical attacker in the body slot to get the most out of each stat.
- Check your coverage. Aim for at least one super-effective move against every type. The offensive chart lists the types you can’t hit hard yet.
- Plan your speed order. Know which members outspeed which, so you can choose who to send in first.
Abilities that change typing matchups, such as Levitate, Flash Fire or Thick Fat, are not included in the charts, so check those members by hand.
How Pokémon Infinite Fusion Stats and Types Work
The team builder uses the same rules as the Infinite Fusion calculator. Each stat leans towards one parent:
| Stat | From the head | From the body |
|---|---|---|
| HP, Sp. Attack, Sp. Defense | 2/3 | 1/3 |
| Attack, Defense, Speed | 1/3 | 2/3 |
The fusion’s primary type comes from the head and its secondary type from the body. If the body’s type would repeat the head’s, the fusion takes the body’s other type when it has one.
Pokémon Infinite Fusion Team Builder FAQ
What is the Pokémon Infinite Fusion Team Builder?
It is a free planner for a six-member party in Pokémon Infinite Fusion. Choose a head and body for each slot, or a single Pokémon, set its ability, held item, nature and moves, and see the whole team's weaknesses, move coverage and speed order.
Can I build a team without fusions?
Yes. Switch to Base team mode to plan a team of regular Pokémon. In Fusion team mode you can also leave the body empty on any slot to keep that member unfused.
How does the team builder work out fusion stats and types?
It uses the same rules as the fusion calculator. HP, Special Attack and Special Defense come two-thirds from the head, while Attack, Defense and Speed come two-thirds from the body. The primary type comes from the head and the secondary type from the body.
How is the defensive coverage chart calculated?
For each of the 18 attacking types, the chart multiplies the type chart values for every member's typing. It then counts how many members are weak to, resist or are immune to that type, and flags types that several members are weak to with nothing to switch into.
How is offensive coverage calculated?
It checks every damaging move you have picked and shows the best multiplier your team can reach against each type. If no damaging moves are picked yet, it uses each member's own types as an estimate of same-type attacking moves.
Is my team saved?
